Despite our best efforts in the ICU, sometimes we need to transition to end-of-life care . During end-of-life care, the medical team and donation specialists will discuss the options of organ donation with your family and loved ones. Care, dignity and respect are always maintained.
Consenting to or declining organ donation does not affect the care you will receive in the ICU. We aim to provide you with the necessary information to make an informed decision if such a situation arises.
