He is a Senior Staff Specialist in Intensive Care at RPAH, Clinical Associate Professor in Intensive Care, Sydney Medical School, he is the State Medical Director, NSW Organ and Tissue Donation Service, and is the Donation Specialist Medical, RPAH, Chair, RPAH Death Review Committee, Supervisor of RMO training, RPAH Intensive Care Service, Council Member, Asia-Pacific Association of Critical Care Medicine. He is theIntensive Care Editor, The Internal Medicine Journal and and member, Editorial Advisory Board, Clinical Science. A/Prof O’Leary is a past President, Australian & New Zealand Intensive Care Society (2009 – 2011)
