Matt is an ICU Staff Specialist at RPA Hospital, Sydney and a VMO Intensivist at Northern Beaches Hosptal, Sydney. He grew up in the cold and windy South Wales Coast and after training across the UK, NZ and Australia he has seen sense and settled on the sunny beaches of Sydney. Having undertaken training in surgery, emergency medicine, retrieval and altitude medicine he enjoys the broad and dynamic workload of RPA. He has special interests in the provision of ECMO and ECMO retrieval across NSW, Cardiothoracic Intensive care and end of life care in the hospital as a whole. As College Supervisor of Training he looks to support, inspire and nurture the trainees. When not working he will be found swimming, surfing, paddling with his young daughters on the Northern Beaches.
