Dr Heike Koelzow qualified from Ludwig-Maximilian-University, Munich, Germany 1990 and achieved her Medical Doctorate (M.D.)1997. Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists UK 1997, European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine 2001, Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand and Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists 2004. She is a Senior Staff Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine, RPAH, Sydney and has an interest in ICU airway management and Critical Care Echocardiography. Dr Koelzow is Convenor for the BASIC Assessment and Support in Intensive Care Course at RPAH; Convenor of the Acute Medicine Course for basic physician trainees; member of the RPAH Trauma Committee; and a member of the Interdisciplinary Tracheostomy Team at RPAH.
